Jason Lee is a first-generation Cantonese-American filmmaker based in Portland, Oregon. His winding path in life so far has put him in a myriad of cultures, experiences, and events spanning the globe; eventually finding a home in the lush lands of the Pacific Northwest. Completely self-taught in the world of filmmaking, Jason's roots in political organizing, social work, and live theatre give him a unique lens through which he both creates beautiful images and fosters strong and cohesive collaborative environments.

Hewitt founded Amygdala Media in 2019 to help businesses of all sizes share memorable & compelling content that accurately depicts their values, brand, & personality. Hewitt loves learning about local businesses and helping them share what makes them special and cool with their customers. Hewitt graduated with a major in Business Administration, a concentration in Marketing, and a minor in psychology from Southern Oregon University.

Ellie Skinner is a graduate from Portland State University who has been working with Amygdala Media for about 3 years. She is driven, hardworking, and thorough behind the camera. She loves being on set, and lending a hand to help set the scene for each project. She has also helped out with editing, audio work, marketing, and does her best to make sure every project we do reaches its best potential. She is a loyal employee who always has a smile on her face, and is a great extra hand with our productions. 

Portland, OR native Emily Ulsh has always had a passion for digital art for as long as she could remember. She grasped my first Camera in elementary school, and would take pictures of myself and friends. Once she started high school, I grew to have a deeper appreciation for DSLR cameras. She Graduated with a film degree in 2018 and has been on my photography adventure since 2015. Her main focus is portraiture and candid moments. In her spare time, She loves painting, listening to Tame Impala, singing karaoke and drinking cool blue Gatorade.

Alex Castille is an established videographer and photographer based in the dynamic city of Portland, Oregon. His passion for capturing the raw essence of laughter, the captivating behind-the-scenes magic, and the vibrant atmosphere of events sets him apart as a specialist in his field.

With an astute eye for detail and an innate ability to anticipate the perfect shot, Alex brings a fresh perspective to every project. Whether it's a stand-up comedy show, a film production set, or a bustling social gathering, he effortlessly immortalizes these fleeting moments, weaving them into compelling visual narratives.

Shoshanna is a Portland-based graphic designer who loves crafting vibrant designs that make brands shine. With eight years of diverse design experience, she has a broad skillset including social media, branding, print layout, trade show booth design, production, and illustration. Always looking to grow her design toolbox, she understands the importance of keeping up with trends and relevant software. Shoshanna holds a BA in Graphic Design from Portland State University and a BA in Art from the University of Oregon. She can adapt to any brand guidelines, but has an affinity for design that isn’t afraid to have fun and play in the world of whimsy.
